Terms of use.
Your Death Clock is a free, independent educational tool made by Conan. Use it for perspective and planning, not to decide how long a person will live.
Who the tools are for
The clock supports adults aged 18–110 using the U.S. SSA table and 18–100 using the UK ONS table. It does not offer mortality estimates for other regions. The separate life-in-weeks calendar supports adults aged 18–110 and uses a horizon you choose, not a predicted death age. There is no account, paid report or subscription.
A population average is not your future
The displayed date adds the average remaining years at your completed age from a named population table to today. A period life table describes a population under a period's mortality rates. It does not establish your individual risk, health or actual death date.
The countdown and familiar moments are translations of that estimate. They do not add predictive accuracy. Calendar exports show a chosen horizon. Do not use either tool for medical, treatment, insurance, financial or end-of-life decisions. Read the method, sources and limitations.
Sharing and responsible use
You can share a link to the tool. Built-in social links omit your inputs and results. A calendar image or printed document you create may contain personal dates; decide whether to disclose it before sharing.
Do not present a result as a diagnosis, impersonate the maker or a source institution, or use the tool to threaten or mislead another person. Do not disrupt the service or attempt to access information that is not yours.
Sources and attribution
Our data pages attribute the Social Security Administration and Office for National Statistics. They have not endorsed this tool. Source reuse is described on the methodology page, including the UK Open Government Licence v3.0. Keep source attribution and limitations when citing our transcription. This page does not grant an open-source licence to all website code, design or third-party material.
Availability and corrections
The service and its sources may be unavailable or change. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, an error-free result or individual predictive accuracy. If a required table is unavailable, the clock should show an error instead of inventing data. Report discrepancies through Contact.
Material changes to this explanation will update the date on this page. Nothing here is intended to remove rights that applicable law gives you.
